Towards a Healthier and Hopeful Future
The George & Angelina Owusu Foundation is dedicated to improving access to effective treatment and addressing the basic healthcare needs of as many children and adults as possible. Our hope is that the lives of our brothers and sisters are not determined by their financial circumstances, but by the opportunities created through medical partnerships. We are facing a significant challenge in providing affordable healthcare and even basic medical access. Our work aims to be part of the solution.
The Foundation is actively building strategic relationships and partnerships to help accelerate the implementation of our initiatives.
In support of Mansa Memorial Hospital, we pushing healthcare partnerships to serve rural communities in Akyawkrom and surrounding areas.
Kumasi is home to Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, and the Technology Medical School is located just seven miles from the Akyawkrom Medical Center. These institutions have already expressed strong interest in contributing resources to the project. The George & Angelina Owusu Foundation is also forging alliances with other healthcare organizations committed to raising the standard of care in Ghana.
Our Commitment to Realize Our Vision
The George & Angelina Owusu Foundation is deeply passionate about our two main focus areas: healthcare and primary education. We work across various regions in Ghana, and our approach is driven by the following key principles:
Sustainable Programs: We are committed to achieving measurable results that create long-term value.
Community Involvement: We collaborate with government institutions, local community leaders, and families, believing that engaging the community is essential for creating sustainable, long-term change.
Adding Value: We constantly seek new, actionable, and practical opportunities to reach local populations with ideas that can make a real impact.
