Our Mission

Vision for a Healthier and Hopeful Future

Our mission is to contribute to the development of a healthier, more engaged, and better-informed population.

The George & Angelina Owusu Foundation is committed to working with local communities to create lasting change. Whether in education or healthcare, our programs are designed to complement, not replace, government efforts. We work closely with local partners to achieve our shared goals.

The Foundation envisions a world where parents can afford to provide their children with a brighter future, and where children no longer die from preventable diseases. While our contributions may be small, we believe that by working together, we can help give everyone in our community a future filled with hope.

For many Ghanaians, access to reliable and affordable healthcare is simply out of reach. Widespread poverty, inadequate healthcare infrastructure, and a shortage of physicians and nurses all contribute to making hospital visits something many people avoid.

Long-term Vision for Equitable Growth and Opportunity

In education, the Owusu Foundation focuses on ensuring that every child has access to primary education, which we see as the foundation for building a successful future. To this end, we are dedicated to ensuring that quality facilities, accessible resources, and support for educators are available across the country, helping to build stronger communities.

We believe that access to basic education and healthcare are fundamental rights, not privileges. We are committed to improving healthcare infrastructure and supporting the establishment of excellent health facilities. Additionally, we are working to create initiatives that encourage Ghanaians to take an active role in the health and well-being of themselves and their families.

By collaborating with organizations that share our values and vision, we believe we can lead a revolutionary transformation in healthcare across Ghana.
